Review - Traffic Evolution - Is Jonathan Mizels New Course Worth The Money?

By John Detlefs

In the wake of Google being so damn unfriendly to affiliate marketers and banning thousands of adwords accounts, it's becoming really important not to have all of your eggs in one basket, and to make sure that you're getting traffic, not just from the search engines, but from several sources. Of course, where do you find those sources of traffic, which are good value for money, and which are crap?

Enter Traffic Evolution.

So How Does Traffic Evolution Work?

Traffic Evolution is all about alternative sources of paid traffic from the usual Google Adwords, Yahoo and Overture (MSN). This is not a course on internet marketing, or how to get more traffic from the natural search engines.

Traffic Evolution shows you all of the advertising networks that Jonathan Mizel uses, and will run you through how to set up an account and get started on getting some qualified traffic through to your site. He lets you know about all of the little quirks that each ad network may have as well, which can be a real time saver (not to mention saving you some real frustration!)

The cool thing is that there is a lot less competition for ad inventory in those networks (compared to Google and Yahoo) and so you'll almost certainly pay less for your clicks. When just a few cents per click can make the difference between a campaign running profitably or losing money then new cheaper sources of traffic become very important.

The Good Side Of Traffic Evolution.

Traffic Evolution consists of two sections. The first section is twelve videos that run through the ad networks that Jonanthan Mizel is currently using, and runs you through the sign up process, and how to get your campaigns up and running as fast as possible. The second is the members forum that you get access to once you're into the members area. It's almost a cliche that a guru will give away access to a forum as a bonus and then let their members run it with little interaction from themselves.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Jonathan Mizel is really active in his forum, and also answers his emails in person! He seems to monitor the forum pretty closely, and almost always answers a thread that requests some advice from him, or just chimes in when he thinks it's relevant.. In this world where everybody is trying to outsource as much as possible, it was nice to see this personal touch, and made me feel good about my buy.

Also in this current world of continuity programs (where you get charged monthly) Jonathan Mizel in his infinite wisdom has decided to charge a one off $197 for the product.

I'm at the point where i'm about to boycott monthly continuity programs because they cost so much, an generally most of the products that now charge monthly could have been bought with a one of payment a year ago, so to see a product with just a one off payment was great!

The Ugly Side Of Traffic Evolution?

Traffic Evolution is only about finding alternative sources of paid traffic. It doesn't go into how to convert that traffic once you've got it, or how to go about targeting specific demographics to make the most out of your traffic. It does go into some of those things at a peripheral level, but nothing amazing.

And that's about it for the bad!

Who's Traffic Evolution for?:

Is Traffic Evolution A Good Buy?

At $199 Traffic Evolution is pretty good value. True, it's still $199 but it's information that you're not really going to find anywhere else, and don't forget you get access to the forum, which gets actual genuine interaction from Jonathan Mizel, which is worth $199 by itself. I know that sounds like a blatant plug, but I really mean it!

How Does Traffic Evolution Score Overall?

Provided you understand what this product is, and what it isn't, then Traffic Evolution is an excellent buy. You must be an experienced marketer before you buy this product however! If you're not sure about landing pages and autoresponders and tracking conversion, and especially if you're not tracking the return on investment on your campaigns then you should give this one a miss.
